Best sushi on Sunset!! Good service, quiet and relaxing. I love the food, especially the rolls. The owners and family are delightful. Anytime I'm in town I head there.
Great sushi. Wonderful Japanese family owed. I visit often and they are very polite, accommodating and their food is very clean. They have been on the sunset strip for over 30 years.
The pork bao buns are superb. It's never really busy in there which is wild to me because it should be packed from the back buns alone

I love Tenmasa. Next to Sagami in Collingswood, NJ, this is one of my favorite sushi places that I've been to in the entire country. I've been coming back here for years. What I love so much about it is the simple presentation, and the extremely high quality fish. I also love the atmosphere. Extremely nice people. I will come back here every chance I get, truly!
This is an LA staple it is still family owned. They've been there for years. Their sushi is the freshest cleanest sushi I've ever had. If you want to try some thing that's fire. Try their jalapeño roll or their soft shell crab roll. Also, their sushi salad is to die for the dressing is made fresh there. Everything is fresh and made to order. I would not miss this. They have great prices and if you want a bento box or you want curry, they have amazing lunch options.
I ordered a lunch bento from Tenmasa while at my office this past Friday. Their service was quick, & the teriyaki chicken with Japanese rice & vegetables was delicious. The my were super kind & threw in a handful of fresh cherries with my order which made it really special. Thank you! Their lunch menu is a great value, straightforward & tasty. I will definitely come back & recommend this place to my friends.
Straight to the point. I got the curry. 6ft offered brown rice which was good. I might try the sushi next time. Restaurant was very clean. The staff spoke Japanese too, that was a plus (for me at least)
